PAKISTAN VISA FOR CITIZENS OF AFGHANISTAN

The embassy deals with visa applications within its consular jurisdiction. There are four consulate generals in Afghanistan that are authorized to issue Pakistani visas and deal with consular affairs other than the embassy, ​​namely Jalalabad, Mazar-e-Sharif, Kandahar and Herat. The Embassy of Pakistan reserves the right to grant or reject any visa application without assigning any reason. In principle, visas are not issued to the following: 

(1) Insane person, 

(2) Person without fixed abode, 

(3) Person accused of a criminal offense

(4) Smugglers, suppliers of illegal goods

(5) Blacklisted persons, 

(6) Presence of a person who endangers the interests of Pakistan

VISAS CATEGORIES 

The embassy is authorized to issue visas in three categories:

1) Single entry

2) Multiple entry

3) Transit

TYPES of Visa 

The embassy issues visas to foreigners for the following purposes:

  • Visit
  • Treatment 
  • Study 
  • Business /work
  • Official 

PREREQUISITES FOR VISA TO AFGHAN CITIZENS 

There are no visa fees for Afghan passports except for business/work

  • The applicant must have a valid passport. 
  • The applicant must be present in person. 
  • Submitting completed application form with a signature and biometric form, a copy of the passport and two photos. 
  • Provide a copy of the ID card and show the original ID card when submitting the form. 
  • Applicants temporarily residing in Pakistan must provide a verifiable address in Pakistan with active phone numbers, and similar information is required within Afghanistan.
  • Applicants applying for a medical visa must obtain the original as well as photocopies from recognized or government hospitals or reissued from accredited health institutions in Pakistan.
  • Applicants for training/workshop/official works/ must submit an invitation letter from Pakistan and a letter from the labor organization in Afghanistan.
  • Applicants visiting the embassy must submit an invitation letter from the embassy and other supporting documents.

VISA TO AFGHAN CITIZENS WHO HAVE THIRD COUNTRY PASSPORTS 

Visa requests from such applicants will be referred to the Ministry of Interior of Pakistan for prior approval only after a personal interview by the Ambassador/Consultant/Consular Officer.

 PREREQUISITES:

Visa fees for Afghan citizens who hold third country passports vary from country to country.

  • The applicant must have a valid passport. 
  • The applicant must be present in person.
  • Immigration permits issued by Afghan immigration authorities in passports must be exclusive.
  • Submit the completed application form with biometric form, a copy of the passport and two photos. 
  • Provide a copy of the ID card and show the original ID card when submitting the form. 
  • Applicants residing temporarily in Pakistan must provide a verifiable address in Pakistan with active phone numbers and similar information is required within Afghanistan.
  • Applicants applying for a medical visa must obtain the original as well as photocopies from recognized or government hospitals or reissued from accredited health institutions in Pakistan.

Visa for third-country nationals/ international non-governmental organizations/ diplomats/ United Nations employees/ and other organizations and civil society

Visa applications from such applicants will be referred to the Ministry of Interior of Pakistan for prior approval only after a personal interview by the Ambassador/Consular/Consular Officer.

  • The applicant must have a valid passport. 
  •  The applicant must have a valid visa and work/residence in Afghanistan.
  • The applicant will not be given a tourist or visit visa.
  • Immigration permits issued by Afghan immigration authorities in passports must be exclusive.
  • The applicant must submit the completed application form (05 pages) with his/her signature (biometric form) which is available on this site, a copy of the passport and two photographs.
  • The applicant must provide a copy of the ID card and show the original ID card when submitting the form
  • Applicants temporarily residing in Pakistan must provide a verifiable address in Pakistan with active phone numbers, and similar information is required within Afghanistan.

ACADEMIC STUDENT VISA 

Visas are issued to foreign students who have been accepted by recognized institutions in Pakistan and with prior approval from the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health and Higher Education Commission and who have an NOC from the Ministry of Interior to study in Pakistan. to be

PREREQUISITES: 

  • There is no visa fee for Afghan students.

If the applicant is a scholarship student, he must submit the original letter from the Higher Education Commission regarding his enrollment in a recognized university in Pakistan.

  • The applicant must submit an NOC or letter from the Ministry of Interior of Pakistan.
  • The applicant must provide the original letter from the university in Pakistan regarding his enrollment or the details of the date of the semester/sessions/start and end of the educational programs.
  • The original letter must be approved by the relevant university and also by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • Applicants who have completed their education in Pakistan with related educational matters will not be given a student visa. .

BUSINESS/WORK VISA 

Visa applications from such applicants will be referred to the Ministry of Interior of Pakistan for prior approval only after a personal interview by the Ambassador/Consular/Consular Officer.

PREREQUISITES:  

There is a visa fee for Afghan passports: 

  • The applicant must have a valid passport, as well as mentioning the occupation as a professional trade and a trade license and registration of polytheistic trade agreements of Pakistan and Afghanistan.

  • The applicant must submit an NOC/letter from the Ministry of Interior of Pakistan.

JOURNALIST VISA
